SONNE YUME

The "native" species to Dream Island, the first beings to have found and inhabited the island thousands of years ago before any mortals had landed. Varying in sizes from 15 feet and smaller (or possibly larger), they are a species of Eldritch beings that were once used for slave labor by their original creators. Their natural forms are that of an amorphous amoeba-like mass of tentacles, eyes and snarling mouths, with the additional horrifyingly capability of forming any body part they could possibly ever need at an instant. After they had consumed all of the natural fauna of the land after their arrival, they had began to shape their forms similarly of that to their prey, finding it much easier to adapt to their new home. If not in their natural forms, they commonly will assume their bodies into the general shape of that of a canid, feline, or ursine on land. They are incredibly strong creatures, and are extremely aggressive when out of control, and they are noted as once being used as weaponry in far off wars. On their own, they seem to greatly favor sucking the heads off of their prey, and often have no issue holding their own. Their levels of intelligence are much higher than that known by most commoners, greatly detesting and finding deep offense in the term "hell-beast" that had been coined to their species by the mortals.

A hybrid of a Shoggoth and a mortal being, although most do not carry any physical bodily traits of the Shoggoth at all. Instead the only time it would be known at all that they hold any of the same capabilities or powers of the eldritch beings would be during times of intense duress, or any other stressful situations that may trigger an emotional or psychological breakdown where they lose the capability to control themselves any longer, and have to "vent" the aggressive energy out in order to be able to function normally once more. Not every anomaly has the same "triggers", but every anomaly is capable of great damage, both property and the capability to fatally injure others. As such, there exists a program that had been introduced hundreds of years back into their civilization to help monitor and counsel these types of individuals and the community. Luckily through years of progression there have come into place several mentoring and counseling centers, the most progressive and advanced therapy center provided through Albrecht Labs, which has boasted the most resourceful and elite "care plans".

Regular beings that possess no special abilities or means of producing magic on their own accord. They are able to learn magic skills and casting through various magical tools and means, but otherwise are entirely regular beings. They live and function alongside all other species, as long as their lives are not at immediate risk.
